Veneers

You may already be familiar with dental veneers as the procedure most commonly performed on reality makeover TV shows.

Dental veneers offer a quick, painless way to correct a variety of dental conditions. Using custom-made porcelain facings that are bonded to the tooth’s surface, veneers can be used to correct a variety of problems including the following:

Discolored teeth
Chipped, broken, or worn teeth
Uneven, misshapen, or misaligned teeth
Diastemas (spaces between the teeth)

One Day Veneer Procedure
Similar to composite bonding, veneers are attached directly to the existing tooth structure. The veneer process includes treating the tooth surface with a special conditioner to prepare it to receive the veneer. A tooth-colored liquid bonding material is then applied to the tooth surface.

While most veneer procedures require multiple trips to the dentist, our office is usually able to perform this procedure in just one visit. In many cases this one visit fix or instant orthodontia can be a great alternative to having braces. Taking less time than normal braces, dental veneers can help you obtain the perfect smile in one day.
